CARES Act - Small Business Grants Available

Program Details 

The City of Anoka City Council has allocated up to $300,000 in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds towards the CARES Act Small Business Grant Program for qualifying businesses in the City of Anoka. The application period for these grant funds begins right now and runs through the end of the day on October 9, 2020. The City Council will have a final discussion regarding the applications at their October 19, 2020 Council meeting. Grant fund checks will go out early the following week. 

Eligible businesses can receive up to $10,000 in grant funds  to assist businesses facing financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further details of this program can be found in the documents listed in the right hand column. Note there is a Memo and FAQ for NON-PROFITS and one for SMALL BUSINESSES. Choose accordingly.

Informational Sessions

There are two informational sessions that will be available via Zoom. You will walk through the application and be able to ask any questions you may have. Those are scheduled for:
