Responsible for keeping the records for the Anoka Police Department. They work with the public, both in-person and on the phone. They also transcribe reports dictated by patrol, investigation, and juvenile sections. The records clerk has to keep track of all the reports, citations, and case information and get the crime reports to the State of Minnesota. There are three full-time Record Technicians and two part-time Record Technicians. The Records Unit is run by the Police Technician II.
